Ashton and Tammy, I know their is a place in heaven for horses. My prayers are with you both. Your friend always, Cathey

When I started taking lessons, I have to say I was not the most confident student. Due to my OCD I have situationaly triggered panic attacks that has been a huge road block between me and my childhood goal of one day showing in competition. I had tried several instructors before Tammy and none of them were as understanding or willing to work with me as she was. Working with her and Bullet gave me confidence and trust I didn't know I had, in not only my horse but in myself. Even though I have had to move to Georgia, Tammy never stopped being commited to me and my goals, and has worked very hard to help me find an instructor here. When no one else would put the time or effort in to work with me, Tammy was always happy to be there to push me when I needed pushing and to know when to celebrate the little acomplishments. I know for a fact if it wasn't for her I'd have given up on my dream and working with horses altogether. Tammy thank you for having faith in me even when I didn't have any in myself.

Tammy you are the greatest! It has been so long since I have had a horse and now that I have one again you have patiently worked with my untrained horse and me. We have both come along way all with your love and understanding of horse and rider. Everytime I get up on Secret I see your smile of encouragement and it makes me proud of myself. My grandkids ride your horses every weekend in the arena playing games like red light green light and learning corect posture and handling of a horse. It is a place for family's to spend time together. Keep up the great work! Thanks, thanks, thanks. Cathey

My granddaughter started riding with Tammy 4 years ago when she was 11 years old she was a shy girl with very little self esteem I saw a difference in Katie almost immediately Tammy has a style of teaching she tells the kids ?riding is all about attitude? she instills self confidence in the kids I never would of believed it if I didn?t see it she has taken Katie to many shows and Katie has won so many ribbons and trophy?s she is so proud of her accomplishments Katie has become an outgoing teenager and I owe it all to Tammy she has been a positive influence and role model I have never had to worry about Katie spending the day at the barn what kind of people she might be around Tammy runs a clean barn with a family atmosphere I consider us lucky to have found Tammy

I brought my recued ponies to Tammy in need of a safe place for them to recover. The older mare was suposed to be in foal soon but we didn't know when. Tammy and the other staff at BGEC made gallant efforts to be sure these frightened ponies felt safe, secure and were addapting to people (as they had never been handled). They stayed up with the mare watching her almost 24/7. She had a respiratory condition and we weren't sure how she would do under the stress of labor.
My ponies have been fed on a strict schedule, vet checked, held for the farrier and given the evtra love and attention they needed from Tammy and the BGEC staff. We have been so blessed to have found such a caring home for our ponies.
Since we have been at BGEC the older mare has had a healthy colt and another of the younger fillies we rescued had a healthy filly. This was all thanks to Tammy of course, because she was the one who was there when the second pony delivered or tried to deliver her foal. We didn't even know she was pregnant because she was such a sack of bones, but Tammy had the vet check her and she was! Not due for another month or two she went into labor the next day!!
The poor mare (les than 2 years old) tried her hardest to deliver, but when she gave up Tammy pulled the foal!!!! She is the paint in the pictures!!!!
My children love to ride the great lesson horses at BGEC and Tammy is such a kind, understanding and knowelegable teacher. We drive past countless other barns to get to BGEC because of the staff, family atmosphere and knowledge of the people there are unmatched. I never have to worry if I have a sick or injurred horse because I know someone is there keeping watch over my prescious new foung ponies. So I am at ease during the week while I am work.
I don't know what we would have done if it weren't for BGEC.
